User Interface (UI)

The UI above the fold looks ok, but it’s quality degrades as we proceed to scroll the page. It can be easily called as the “Worst UI of modern time” from among all the domain registration companies reviewed so far. Much of the text is hardly readable because of the lack of contrast and the color combinations used. Much so that it can easily put ton of strain on the eyes.

Checkout the sample of the UI from their homepage below. You can barely read the text in dark color. You have to strain your eyes to be able to read it. If you desire an enjoyable UI experience, then stay off of luckyregister.com.

As a domain name registrar, luckyregister.com charges high. They offer huge discounts on payments for the first year, hoping that the customers would pay for long term right away. On an average, you end up paying almost $8/yr more for each domain that you wish to register from them.

For example, if you register 10 domains with them, you end up paying around $80 more a year. This is really expensive.
